DIGI YOUTH 2 Project International Training Event Successfully Held in Izmir

Izmir, Turkey – The DIGI YOUTH 2 Project International Training event took place from June 4-7 at Yaşar University, bringing together youth workers, educators, and project partners to explore innovative ways of integrating digital tools into youth work.

The training featured insightful presentations and hands-on sessions on key topics, including the integration of new technologies into youth work, the adaptation of digital tools for youth activities, and the use of multimedia production tools. Participants had the opportunity to deepen their understanding of digital transformation in youth engagement while actively exploring best practices.

A highlight of the event was the visit to Yaşar University’s Open and Distance Learning Research Center, where participants explored interactive learning content and video production studios. This experience provided a practical perspective on how digital learning environments can be leveraged for youth development and engagement.

The DIGI YOUTH 2 Project aims to enhance digital competencies among youth workers and young people, promoting innovative educational methodologies and tools. The training in Izmir marked another important milestone in fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing among international partners dedicated to youth empowerment through digital innovation.
